The iTELL
Project helps teachers explore how to optimize learning,
enhance student engagement, and promote high levels of content
knowledge for ELL students by infusing powerful technology-enhanced
strategies into teaching and learning. Research-based strategies,
based primarily on GLAD and SIOP, are used with technology to
increase student interest and motivation. Come learn how to make a
difference in using technology to support ELL students in your
classroom. Space limited to 25 participants per
session.

Effective 21st century
teacher must be effective 21st century learners first. In
this two-day intensive academy, teachers get a taste of both. Day
one focuses on teachers as learners and guides them through an
array of online tools as they work to solve a problem. Tools such
as blogs, wikis, advanced searches, news aggregators, and social
networks are used to access, evaluate, and maintain information
sources. Day two transitions to teaching with these same 21st
century tools and attitudes of mind. Join us for an invigorating,
practice-changing two days. Space limited to 25
participants per session.

Web 2.0
tools are practical mechanisms for communication, collaboration,
and just plain community-building fun.Through an administrator
lens, explore blogs, multimedia presentations, online meetings,
online polls and surveys, and collaborative documents and sites.
Plus leave with quick fun sites to build into your work with
students, parents, and staff. Join us for one exciting day that can
give you a whole new perspective on leadership using educational
technology for the 21st century. Space limited to 25 participants
per session. Session qualifies for Admin Credential Tier II
